APTSL is a Manchester-based community transport organisation established on a non- profit basis to provide high quality transport services to adults and children with disabilities and for other charities and community groups working in this field. We operate a fleet of 75 minibuses accessible to wheelchair users using specially trained drivers and assistants. We operate from a base near the centre of Manchester and provide services across Greater Manchester. We have a team of 85 drivers and passenger assistants and a small management group.

 

The core of our operation was established to take over services passed over from

Manchester City Council’s in-house operation. These ensure that young people with special needs can attend school in safety and comfort, and that older adults who have difficulty getting around can access a variety of social care facilities.
